Dallas Jean Pederson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dallas Jean Pederson (nee Pennell) of Calgary, Alberta (Formerly of Mirror, Alberta) on May 13, 2017 at the age of 93 years.

Dallas was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert Pederson of Mirror, Alberta on April 4, 2005, her mother, father, three brothers, and two sisters of St. John's, Newfoundland.

Dallas is survived by her daughters, Diannne and Cheryl Pederson, her granddaughter Kristine Pederson and her great-grandson Kendrick Pederson, all of Calgary, Alberta,.

She was born in St. John;s, Newfoundland and moved to Mirror to start a family with Albert in 1946. Dallas loved to cook, bake, did some beautiful crochet work and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Some of our fondest memories are of her singing "How Great Thou Art" and "O Holy Night".

Dallas was cremated in Calgary and will be buried in the Mirror Cemetery with some of her ashes will be scattered in St. John's, Newfoundland.
