BAKER, Cecilia Joan (nee Lang)
August 20, 1940 - May 3, 2017

Cecile, 76 years of age, passed away on May 3, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ken, and four children: Ken Jr. (Belinda), Heather (Dave) Holz, Bonnie Lord, and Gregory (Mary); six grandchildren: Kenny Baker, Danielle Baker, Lyndsay Snider, Analori Snider, Zachery Lord, and Ryan Lord; one great-granddaughter, Makayla Baker and, the latest addition, Jax Love; sister, Judi (Kees) Negenman, and brother, Ed (Joan) Lang, and sister-in-law, Shirley Lang, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Anna and Bill Lang, and brother, Richard Lang. Family and friends were Cecile's greatest joy. She loved to cook, play scrabble, and any activity that included her grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Dr. SE) on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (200 - 325 Manning Rd. NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5).
